FULTON SUPERIOR COURT

Client was charged with:

  • damaging his mother’s property in excess of $20,000.00 and
  • stealing her vehicle.

Client was facing two felonies and the original plea offer was to serve 1 year in prison.

After negotiating with the prosecutor about the facts of the case and showing some mitigating factors, the case was reduced to a misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct.  The client was happy.

Attorney Richard Blevins is a former Cobb County Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Solicitor General. He is a part-time criminal justice instructor at Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Georgia.
