Cobb State Court

Client was stopped for making a wrong turn out of a bar parking lot. Officers smelled alcohol coming from the client’s breath. The client performed the HGN test and the officers found 6 out of 6 clues.

The client then performed the walk and turn test. The client was told to walk 9 steps heel to toe. The officer failed to give the client enough room to do that and the client could only walk 5 heel to toe steps until he ran into the patrol car.

The client was arrested for DUI and took the State administered blood test. The results came back over .08.

Attorney Blevins was able to show the F.S.T.s were demonstrated incorrectly by the arresting officers. Attorney Blevins was able tot get the DUI charge reduced to a reckless driving.

Client’s job was saved and was very happy.
