FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Paulding County Superior Court
Client was operating a motor vehicle and collided with a vehicle to her front. The client had three children in the vehicle. No one was injured. A State Patrolman arrived and indicated he smelled alcohol coming from her person.
The client denied drinking.
The client completed field sobriety tests and the Trooper indicated she failed them. She was arrested and charged with DUI, three counts of Child Endangerment and following too close. The client took a blood test that showed prescription drugs and a THC as well as alcohol.
Attorney Blevins was able to show the HGN test was administered improperly. Further that the Trooper had no bases for a marijuana or drug DUI case. Attorney Blevins was able to get the DUI and three Child Endangerment counts dismissed. The client pled to following too closely.
CLIENT REACTION
Very happy,
