Client was operating a motor vehicle, leaving a restaurant. The client lost control of his vehicle and ran into a sign owned by the restaurant. The client notified the owner and the police arrived. The police officer smelled a strong odor of alcohol. The client submitted to the horizontal gaze nystagmus test.
The Officer Found 6 of 6 Clues in The Client’s Eyes
The client submitted to the walk and turn test and the officer observed 4 of 8 clues. The client finally submitted to the one leg stand test and the officer observed 3 of 4 clues. The client was arrested for DUI.
Attorney Blevins was able to get the DUI charge reduced to reckless driving.
